the use of adjective in Indonesian

The use of Adjective in Indonesian (kata sifat)
Using adjective or kata sifat in Indonesian is different from using english adjective. In english, we use adjective before noun, but in Indonesian we use adjective after noun (kata benda). For more explanation, see the examples below:
1.     Perempuan cantik                        beautiful woman
2.     Rumah besar                                big house
3.     Musik merdu                               melodious music
4.     Halaman luas                               large yard
5.     Siswa rajin                                    dilligent student

It can be seen clearly the use of adjective (kata sifat) either in english or in indonesian. In english  we mention the adjective (kata sifat) firts then followed by noun (kata benda), but in indonesian, we mention the noun first, then followed by the adjective (kata sifat). So, in indonesian if we want to say beautiful girl, we say girl beautiful (gadis cantik)
