Using -LAH to make indonesian imperative sentence



Put –lah to make Indonesian imperative sentence
One way to make an imperative sentence in bahasa indonesia is the use of –lah. We put –lah after verb /kata kerja. See the examples below.
1.     Pergi                          becomes                  pergilah                    (pergi + lah)
2.     Melihat                     becomes                  melihatlah                  (melihat+ lah)
3.     Duduk                       becomes                  duduklah                  (duduk + lah)
4.     Menulis                    becomes                  menulislah                 (menulis +lah)
5.     Bangun                     becomes                  bangunlah                 (bangun + lah)
It can be seen that to make indonesian imperative sentence we just put –lah. Lets see also the following examples;
