Parak
Iwak
Last week there was Parak Iwak. Its
located in The Pikas Singomerto. It was in Serayu river. My friends and I
went there in the morning. we were afraid of not having enough parking area
for our motorcycles.
This was my first time for me to
watch this great event in Banjarnegara. There were so many people coming from
many subdistrics in Banjarnegara regency and other regency such as Wonosobo,
Purbalingga and the like.
I did not join with many people who
would catch the fish together in the
Serayu river. I only became a watcher in that agenda. I hoped I could meet my
old friends such as Agus Turipno, Imam, and the like but I could not see one
of them.
I hoped too that my brother Riko
would be there. He ever told me that one day he would go to Banjarnegara if
there was a great agenda. I repeatedly took a look on my handphone to check
whether he contacted me.
But I could meet Mas Tofik one of my
housemate some years ago in university. I was happy indeed. I could ask many
things about Banjarnegara Tourism Ambassador
Contest for my brother Riko who would
like to join. He said that the agenda would be discussed later after
Parak Iwak finished. But he gave me many informations about the contest.
The catching fish started after an
opening and also an owsome parade. There was the vice of Banjarnegara regent
H. Samsudin with seven Bima bringing water from Dieng plateau that called
Ulam Sari tirta nyawiji then he gave to the rgent of Banjarnegara Budi
Sarwono to be poured in the Serayu river.
After that the Parak Iwak or
catching fish together was started. There were thousand people cought fish
together. They were not allowed to bring some thing like fish net. But...
some people brought it.
One of unforgetable thing for me was
getting fruit from the regent of Banjarnegara Bp. Budi Sarwono. He devided
some fruits to many people who stood near the main podium where he took rest
together. Seeing he devided many fruits, I got close to him, I got three
tomatoes and two bananas. But I really forgot to take picture in that sweet
moment.
After that, my friends and I decided
to go to Serayu Expo in Banjarnegara, on the way I saw a couple of Tourism
ambassador of Banjarnegara. I directly met both of them. Actually I would
like to ask his phone number but he said that he would continue to mas tofik
for more info. Finally I cencelled to ask because mas Tofik was my friend and
I had already had his contact. We chatted many things about tourism
ambassador in Banjarnegara regency.
My friends and I left for Serayu
Expo although the Parak Iwak had not finished yet.

Going to Jakarta
On Friday last week my family
and I went to Jakarta. It was really my first experience going to Jakarta. Of
course I was so happy since I got information and invitation from my step
mother that my step elder brother named Martin would get married in Jakarta.
She invited me to go to Jakarta to the wedding party.
We were six people. We left
for there in the afternoon. We had to wait for the departure around two hours
in the terminal.
We arrived in Jakarta in the
morning at around 5 am. We got off in Grogol highway. There were Martin and
his elder brother who had been waiting for our attendance there. They looked
very happy to see us arrived there. They said that they arrived there around
two hours before.
On Saturday we spent whole day
to take rest. In the morning I was asked by Martin and his elder brother to
deliver some vegetables and fruits to his wife tobe’s house.
On Saturday after noon, the
house became very crowded when one of our step sister named Nas came there.
The situation became so touching because Nas was very far away from us. We
never met for many years. She was together with her husband, sister in law
and her three sons.
Sunday morning, we were very
busy to prepare going to the party. Some people did not have breakfast first.
We left for the party place. There were three cars. We laft for there
together. On the way the car that I rode had a problem so that finally we had
to stop on the way and the car must be changed with other car. I was so
afraid of that situation. Fortunately there was nothing with us.
On Sunday evening we went to
Monas. I was really very happy. It was my fist visit to Monas. We walked
around and took pictures together. We visited museum but we could not climb
to the top of the monument because the time to visit was over. We finally
went home. We passed infront of Indonesian Hotel.
On Monday afternoon we went
home and we arrived at home on Tuesday early morning. for me it was really my
greatest moment that I never thought before. It was really satisfying.

National
Batik Day 2016
Yesterday
was national Batik day. I had a friend his name was tresno. He liked wearing
batik so much. He had his own style of wearing batik. For tresno, batik was
one of his favourite and compulsory dress.
He
had some styles of dressing. Firts, he had one color dress. He had to wear
dress with same color starting from shoe or zandal, and then untill his hat
and also the accessories. Second, if in the office, he had to wear long
sleeve batik with black trousers and shoes. And then the third, he wore long
sleeve batik, long batik shawl, and saroong.
For
tresno, wearing batik was compulsory. He wore batik in his childhood too
although at that time wearing batik was like an old man who would go to one’s
wedding party. At that time batik had not been established as one of
Indonesian culture like nowdays.
In
the framework of National Batik Day 2016 celebration, he got medal for his
competition on batik fashion show. He could win the competition because he
had batik as his special wear since his childhood. He also obliged himself to
wear it in the wear of his work everyday.
